You have no idea the impact your documentary is going to have. It will change lives!!
- Steve Serbic, Assistant Fire Chief My husband a retired Police Officer and myself a retired Emergency Police Dispatcher watched it together. OMG it was so good. Thank goodness we had a box of Kleenex beside up. The Documentary is a gift. Thank you…thank you for this gift that will help a multitude of people Worldwide. - Janet Wiszowaty This new documentary by director Michael Gier has been quite the 3 year journey for him. For me, it has been 20 years of unanswered questions “answered”!" I truly believe this will help save lives. - Kyle Green I just wanted to take a minute and let you know how truly appreciative I am of you for taking on this documentary. It doesn’t just mean a lot to me but it means the world to all the veterans that have or are still suffering from PTSD. There are many films out there but nothing like what you brought to the table. - Joseph Kvederis Bless YOU for having the guts and the drive to do this film for all of us. You have the power to BREAK THE STIGMA once and for all, for all of us. I am uncharacteristically without words right now. - Andrew Holycross My son is in the Navy battling PTS coupled with the self-medicating with alcohol. His struggles are real and your film gives us hope. Thank you for being moved enough by the stories of our brave men and women in the Military to want to make this film. I loved the Documentary! I’m so grateful for your compassion – you’ll never know how many lives not only will be saved, but how this may change the trajectory of so many families. |
IMPACT
Ben Dziobek from from Alaska battled PTSD for years and had tried everything but wasn't able to find relief. After working with 22zero.org and trying a treatment featured in the film Ben said, "I don't even know what to say. WOW. I've done ninety sessions of EMDR and didn't feel the relief I had in 2 hours with Dr. Royster. After the session my shoulders felt lighter, super dizzy almost an intoxicated feeling, tired, my stomach feels different. I tried to access the memories of the traumas and they aren't coming up at all! This is absolutely crazy. I tried talking about them and there was zero emotional charge. I have Not had one intrusive thought since. THANK YOU so much OMG...I don't even know what to say. It was so powerful that my usual therapist was like "Ok, what the hell is going on, what happened?" '
Dan Jarvis 22zero.org said, Ben found so much relief that he's already connected us with a handful of people and we’re already clearing their trauma; in families, not just the Veteran but their spouses and kids. He’s organizing a training for his local community and we'll also be training his therapist, who has a lot of veteran clients. Before Ben is finished we will impact 1000+ people all thanks to you and the Wounded Heroes Documentary. After watching Wounded Heroes and learning about Equine Therapy, Assistant Fire Chief Steve Serbic in Canada decided to try horse therapy and said, "I can’t really explain how I felt after my time with a horse named Phoebe. It felt like I had cried for hours and I let it all out but I only was with Phoebe and there was no crying. I think what happened to me was I let my emotional armor down with Phoebe. It’s so crazy and so powerful." Steve is now contacting ranches all over Canada to make horse therapy more widely available in his country so that others can experience what he did. After a woman's husband did the Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) treatment that was featured in the film, he felt great and turned to his wife saying "I have a second chance at life!" A few weeks later she made the comment that she has her husband back and their children have their father back. |
